Mature cheese with a very mild flavor, semi-hard texture, light ivory in color with small and uneven eyes.

Gouda heads are coated  with special coating imported from  Holland.

Made from fresh pasteurized cow milk.

Heads weight 4 kg approx.

Aged for minimum 6 weeks.

Fat content in dry mass minimum 45%

 

Gouda cheese is sold all over the world. Most of the cheese is produced in factories.

However, there are a number of dairy farms where cheese is produced in the traditional way like we do in CheeZLer.

Gouda is an excellent companion to mild wines.
